Step 1: Check Your Integration Status
The most common reason conversions don't appear is a disconnected integration.
What to Check
- Go to Integrations in the sidebar
- Find the platform where conversions are missing (Facebook, Google, TikTok, etc.)
- Check the status indicator:
- Green / Connected — Integration is active and authenticated
- Yellow / Warning — Integration is connected but may have issues (e.g., expiring token)
- Red / Disconnected — Integration is broken and needs re-authorization
If Disconnected
- Click Reconnect on the integration
- Complete the OAuth flow (you'll be redirected to the ad platform)
- Grant the required permissions
- Return to DealOracle — status should show green
Your event mappings and settings are preserved when you reconnect. You don't need to reconfigure anything.
Step 2: Check Event Mapping
Conversions are only sent to ad platforms when a lead's disposition is mapped to a conversion event for that platform.
What to Check
- Go to the integration's settings (click the gear icon next to the platform)
- Open the Event Mapping tab
- Verify that the disposition you're using is mapped to a conversion event
Common Issues
- Unmapped disposition — If you set a lead to "Qualified" but only "Converted" is mapped, no conversion fires
- Wrong event name — The event name in DealOracle must match what's configured in the ad platform
- Mapping was deleted — Check if someone removed a mapping
How to Fix
- In the Event Mapping tab, click Add Mapping
- Select the disposition that should trigger a conversion
- Select or enter the event name on the ad platform (e.g., "Purchase", "Lead", "CompleteRegistration")
- Save the mapping
Step 3: Check the Lead's Event Stream
Every lead has an event stream that logs all actions, including conversion attempts.
How to Check
- Navigate to Leads
- Find and click the specific lead
- Scroll to the Event Stream section
- Look for entries labeled "Conversion Sent" or "Conversion Failed"
Reading the Event Stream
| Entry | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Conversion Sent (green) | The conversion was successfully sent to the platform |
| Conversion Sent (yellow) | The conversion was sent but hasn't been confirmed by the platform yet |
| Conversion Failed (red) | The conversion attempt failed — click to see the error details |
| No entry at all | The disposition change did not trigger a conversion (check event mapping) |
If You See an Error
Click the failed event to expand error details. Common errors include:
invalid_token— Re-authorize the integrationinvalid_pixel_id— Check the pixel/conversion ID in integration settingspermission_denied— Your ad platform permissions may have changedrate_limited— DealOracle will auto-retry; check back in a few minutes
Step 4: Platform-Specific Checks
Even after DealOracle successfully sends a conversion, it may take time to appear on the ad platform.
Facebook (Meta)
- Go to Events Manager → Test Events to see real-time events (test mode only)
- Real conversion events can take up to 24 hours to appear in Events Manager
- Check Events Manager → Overview and filter by the correct pixel
- Verify your pixel ID matches what's configured in DealOracle
Google Ads
- Go to Conversions in Google Ads
- Look for conversions with the source "Uploaded" (this is how offline conversions appear)
- Google Ads can take 3+ hours to process uploaded conversions
- Ensure the conversion action is set to "Use uploaded data" in Google Ads settings
TikTok
- Go to Events Manager in TikTok Ads Manager
- Check that the event name matches your DealOracle mapping
- TikTok typically shows events within 1-2 hours
Common Cross-Platform Issues
- Expired token — Re-authorize the integration in DealOracle
- Invalid pixel/conversion ID — Double-check the ID in integration settings
- Permissions changed — If your role was changed on the ad platform (e.g., removed from Business Manager), re-authorize with proper access
- Time zone mismatch — The ad platform may report conversions on a different date than expected if time zones differ
